HOP Models & AKOO Clothing

March 14, 2012  |  The Agent  |  No Comments

I don’t know why I decided to blog about this particular project, but I thought it was cool to see the fruits of my labors play off on television. As a booking agent in the fashion world, there is never a dull moment nor are you rarely off the clock. At any given moment an opportunity can arise, so my sentiments to you is “Seize the Day”. As the Director of New Faces & Women Fashion for HOP and background in PR I think its very vital to establish long term relationships. TI’s clothing line AKOO has been a great client of mine and I am glad they are supporting the home team, ATL and not looking to book talent in other markets.

The above photo is a display I seen at Dillards in Atlantic Station, which feature one of my male model by the name of Billy Payne. Below check out the behind the scene footage for the Spring/Summer fashion show which aired a couple of days ago. Read More

The Irony

June 28, 2011  |  The Agent  |  No Comments

Yesterday I was placed in a particular type of mood, although its no longer Gemini season my attitude and temperament is that of a confused child who searches for a solution without asking for assistance. After voicing my complaints and making a self declaration, I wake up to my first national hair campaign I booked. The irony is that their is so many jokes behind this product but their is a lot of flaws made by not doing research (ie. the proper pronunciation of the brand). Any who I got paid off this one. lol

S/o to model Khandice of HOP, she slayed that production….

CoCo and Breezy x HOP Models = Wear-able Art

December 6, 2010  |  The Agent  |  No Comments

Its very important to make relationships and the relationship is even better when the person is your friend. Recently I had the pleasure of working with the booskis CoCo and Breezy again. The first time  we met was for a shoot with Art Nouveau Mag, the second was having models booked for their NY Fashion Week presentation. This time the ladies were in search of a few models to bring their Wear-Able Art collection to life for their 2011 Look Book. Of course they remembered that HOP is one of the premiere modeling agency in ATL.

Check out the behind the scene footage….

This week opened my eyes to the endless possibilities. On Tuesday and Wednesday Vina Mills was publicly introduced to Black Entertainment Television better known as BET, during Atlanta’s Soul Train Awards Week. Vina was a presenter during the Soul Train Pre-Show starring Rick Ross and Erykah Badu.  I had the privilege of being the mouth piece for R&B/Pop singer, and we scored major press coverage. Stay tune for her feature interview with BET.

This is not a repeat post but I was excited to personally see a campaign within the department stores that house one of my models. Annie is the face of Purminerals, and boy her face is bananas. HOP Models are doing great things, and are the new faces of fashion, “GET IN OR BE LEFT OUT”.

Chicago welcomed me with open arms and I gave them a run for their money, that is why they have asked for me to come back and stay a month. Under the leadership of Senior Director, Lyndon Winchester, I will be able to take the traditional way of booking and marketing models and intertwine it with my personal style, sophisticated taste and savvy skill sets.  Just call me Super Model Agent. I hope they are prepared for The-Social take over, or this BOOT camp.

Oh Snaps…

The only thing I need in my savior kit is my BLACKBERRY (Lies). She comes in handy especially when I forget to bring my camera.  I get invites to special engagements, and I work on multiple projects but with my BB in hand I can never forget a situation, location or a face. “I wanna make sure you (I) remember me (You), So imma leave my number (MUG) on your video (Camera) phone.”

Fashion Emergency: Chicago

October 26, 2010  |  The Agent  |  No Comments

New city, new mission with one goal, hello Chicago thanks for the warm welcome. I never in a million years thought that I will be in the mist of all the kaos that accompanies the entertainment realm, primarily “FASHION”. I know people heard me say time and time before, I’m not into fashion nor the labels, however I’m into pretty people. For the most part that statement holds a lot of truth, but I would be lying to myself and you to deny the adrenaline rush I feel when I have clients like Oscar de la Renta and Givenchy on call.
